You'll see my face
You'll squint and stare at me

I will remind you

You'll admonish my past
You'll tell me what could have been

I'll resent the scolding
I'll roll my eyes at more passed possibilities
I'll concede your summation
You were always better at conclusions

You'll have found peace in simplicity

I'll wonder why you never searched for me
