Probably three of five people in your network identify with pro-life branding. Look for them. They're the ones who continue to elect and appoint the people who push forward the agenda. This is not some anomalous outlier to the trend of our political or religious landscape, this is and has been the landscape.
There's a reason why you've been told to not speak about politics religion and abortion at the dinner table. They rather you be seen and not heard, while they are heard without ever having to be seen...
...when her school defunds sex-ed
...when her birth control is more expensive, unsafe and taboo
...when her 'lover' abandons her
...when her 'parents' disown her
...when she's spat on for accepting social assistance
...when her friends vote to deny her social assistance
... when she very likely herself dies.
"Pro-life" has always evolved from the privilege of not having to face life.
